Question:
I was wondering if anyone had an idea how much it cost to have the surgery on your
legs? Also can you have the TT, legs, and arms done at the same time and how long are you hospitalized? Thanks — jan M. (posted on May 29, 2002)

My plastic surgeon's fee for a panniculectomy was $3000, and his fee for a
bilateral brachioplasty (armlift) was $3200. There was an additional $1000
or so for anesthesia, drugs, etc... I had my tummy and arms done at the
same time and that surgery took approximately 5 hours. I was scheduled to
be in the hospital only overnight, but ended up staying longer due to some
medication-related complications. My surgeon wanted to keep operating time
at a minimum, and advised scheduling another surgical date if I wanted any
further plastic surgery done later on. Many surgeons will combine tummy
tuck and breast lift procedures...it is my understanding that thighlift
procedures are fairly long all by themselves. Best wishes!

I am looking at a total of $13,050 for brachioplasty, mastoplexy,
adominoplasty and thigh lift, being done all at once by USC. Will probably
go the route of a home equityloan to pay for all of it.

Having a tt, thigh lift and arm lift is quite a bit of work, but you may
find a surgeon willing to do it. I wanted my thigh lift and arm lift done
at the same time, but my surgeon did not think it should be done. I know
many doctors will combine an arm lift with a tt and some a thigh lift with
a tt. As for costs, it cost me 10,000.00 for a circumfrential
thigh/buttocks lift (also removed excess skin from my groin to my knee).
That included a two day hospital stay. The doctor quoted apx. $7,000.00 for
arm lift and removal of skin at my bra line. This includes anethesia and
hospital fees (he does all of his surgeries in a hospital). Best of luck!
