Question:
Tasteless protein drinks?
Is it true there are some protein mixes that actually don't even taste??? — Lisa B. (posted on May 12, 2001)

There are whey protein drinks which may taste a little bitter, so I add
Splenda sugar substitute to Pro Blend 55 or Pro Complex which have about 55
gms. protein per serving.
It helps to add a banana for sweetness and creaminess to any flavor protein
drink. You can also add any fruits for extra flavor. Go in peace. Good
luck.

Just limit yourself to 30g servings of protein so that you can potentially
"use" all you are buying. :-) Some people slice bananas up,
freeze for an hour or so, then keep 'em in a ziplock. Then you can toss a
few in your shake, get the texture, and not the flavor so much and extra
sugars. Or frozen berries. It doesn't take a lot to get some extra fun in
there. And all the sugar free latte syrups, 0g of sugar "fruit"
drinks add nicely to the vanilla and fruit proteins. Whey products don't
heat, but they do freeze. So, you can make grape popsicles for a change.
Or even fudgesicles & I cannot figure out why I haven't tried it
myself! But then, I like mine straight.
