Question:
Does anyone know a website that has recipes designed for post-op WLS patients?
I am 2 months post op and am looking for lots of good recipes. — Jackie S. (posted on September 29, 2003)

Over at spotlighthealth.com, click on obesity and they have a message board
just for recipes. Just doing a search for low carb and high protein on the
internet should provide you with lots and lots of recipes for post-op
menus.

go to www.gastricbypassfamily.com. There is a section called kathy's wls
recipes and one called Robin's wls recipes. Tons of good recipes there.

I have developed and copyrighted a book since my WLS surgery over 3 years
ago. If you are interested, go to my profile page or
www.freewebs.com/recipes-after-rny The website has sample recipes, an
index of the recipes in the book, and ordering information. If there's
something specific you are looking for, let me know and I'll see if I have
a recipe for it in the book. I just had the book revised and added new
recipes for soft peanut butter cookies and homemade raspberry jam that is
better than any you will ever eat! Good luck to you!

also, i use www.allrecipes.com a lot, just search under "high
protein" or "low carb" and there's another site, think it's
called "low carb friends" that has tons of recipes.
