Question:
Why when
I have heard other women say that around the time of their period they can eat more and want to eat more. Does anyone know why that is? I scared myself on how much I ate today. Half of a small popcorn chicken from KFC. I know that was a bad choice. "Aunt Flo" is about to come and visit and I feel so hungry! Can someone give me some insight on this? I am 3 months post op. I think wanting to eat more about "that time" is a hormone thing.
I always crave chocolate around that time. So much for that craving since
I had surgery 8/6/2003. I don't think one KFC popcorn chicken is gonna
kill you... although sometimes fried foods cause dumping for some people so
be careful. At least it was chicken/protein! Aunt Flo visited me right
after my surgery and I did not notice that much of my usual cravings....
but it is hormones! I bet right after "Aunt Flo" when you get on
that scale you will have lost a few extra pounds... that is the good news!
God bless you in your journey!

I don't know Patra but the same thing happens to me. I cannot figure out
how I have to eat twice as much at a sitting during that one week. There
is still the same amount of space to put the food in.
