Question:
If you mix the protein powder with water does it count toward your 64?

It sure does!

No, according to my nutritionist! I bet you'll have more differences of
opinion. Give your own nutritionist or the surgeon a call and ask them--
their answer is what matters!

I'd like to think it does, but apparently my body doesn't think so. If I
try to slide by with less, I show the early signs of dehydration. Sigh. I
hate having to think about water.

I have a real "try-it-and-see" approach to most things that
aren't life threatening. Try counting it towards your water intake for a
week or so and see if you notice a difference in how you feel, how your
bowels are, and how your skin looks and feels. If you notice a negative
impact then for YOU it shouldn't be included in your 64 ounces a day. Same
goes for caffinated beverages and other fluids (soups and such). Everybody
is different and current research shows that some peoples bodies pull water
from foods and beverages than another persons body. Best of luck to you!
