Question:
After 6 months post op, how many calories should I be eating.
I am 6 months post op and still eating less than a 1000 calories per day. Continuing to eat 60 grams of protein and 64 oz. water. — Margaret P. (posted on November 18, 2002)

At 6 months post-op, my surgeon's office says I can eat from 1,000 to 1,200
calories per day, and up to 100 grams of carbs per day. (Although I
usually eat between 800-1,000 calories per day and around 50 grams of carbs
per day.)
