Question:
NEED HELP!!!
Okay so I am about to turn 21 and I am having a combined birthday with a bunch of people. Well here is the probelm... Everyone wants to have birthday cake and I tolerate sugar but still want to have a sugar free cake. I need recipes of GOOD cakes that are sugarfree or maybe a company that makes them. I leave on the coast of NC!! Please help me. — jenna F. (posted on June 3, 2002)

My friend who had DS on sept 10th and lost 180lbs so far was a chef baker
for 13 yrs. and she recently made a chocolate mouse cake complety out of
Splenda which is a sugar free product that takes place of sugar. No one
knew and they ate all of it and it tasted great. Maybe you can bake your
own cake.

Thank you for everyones sugesstions. To the poster that told me to get two
cakes....
The problem is not that the people don't want a sugarfree cake....
The problem is that I want one that tastes good.
Everyone that is coming to the cookout is very supportive of my new eating
habits.

Try calling this bakery: Chatila's, 4 south broadway, Salem NH,
603-898-5459 (toll free, if it works: 877-619-5398). They specialize in
sugar-free (they use splenda), low and no fat, no cholesterol, no salt
items. My fave is their fat free sugar free cheesecake, which sells for
$10. If you didn't tell anyone, they wouldn't know, it's really THAT
good!! They do ship also, but I'm not sure of the cost. Good luck!
