Question:
can someone help me out with an average

i know that drs are different as we are but can someone give me a general idea for an average daily intake of fat grams and carbs i'm five wks.post-op down 30 and scared to death to blow this life decision thanks for your help deana    — deana A. (posted on May 10, 2002)

I think this is right...my doctor would rather we don't count just eat correctly. but here it goes....these are maximum numbers...30g of fat, 60g of protein and no more that 120g of cards. This is for a normal (are any of us normal :))) person but you may need to talk to your doc to see what he suggests. Different surgeries require different things.

70% protein 20% carbs 10% fat. So if you have 80gms of protein you can have 16gms of carbs and 8gms of fat. REMBER eat your protein first.
