Question:
I am considering breast surgery after my WLS. Can anyone
TELL ME THE PRICE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JUST BREAST IMPLANTS ALONE VS. BREAST IMPLANTS WITH A BREAST LIFT? THANKS — [Anonymous] (posted on January 16, 2002)

I believe that it depends on how much breast tissue you have left after you
have lost the weight. Some people have very little breast tissue and lots
of skin, so a "lift" would be for them along with an implant if
desired. If you have some density left in your breast and it is just
saggy, you may be happy with just a lift only and NO implant.

My Dr. recomended a lift with a small implant, I do not have enough tissue
to hold a lift, which is fine with me, I went from a 40dd to a 35a. I will
probably lose a bit more, But I am excited about a lift, and small implant,
I will ask for reconstructive surgery, Hopefully insurance will pay, Also
My dr recomends a thigh lift. Other than that, I am very pleased with my
new body.
