Question:
Has anyone ever been on steroid use long term? What was the result ?

I have been diagnosed with Addisons Disease and have to been on steroids for the rest of my life. I am very upset that I have gained 25 lbs. My face is very full. I have multiple sclerosis and have been on steroids, on and off, for the last several years. I do notice a general roundness to the face and temporary weight gain when I'm on steroids, but everything returns to normal once I go off of them. (Most doctors won't keep people on steroids non-stop, because of the bone and heart problems it causes.) Hope the info. helps. Feel free to email me direct at [email protected].
