Question:
After Care For Leg Lift
I have a friend who's having a leg lift (removal of extra skin), has anyone had this procedure and if you have could you give me some advice for her for care when she comes home from the hospital. I believe the incision will be made above the thigh where the legs join the body and they are going to pull everything up. I am hoping someone who has had this procedure can give us a little insight on the aftercare, pain and what she should have handy at home. I would think walking might be painful for awhile. This procedure has been recommended to me during my course of
reconstructive surgery; however, a good friend of mine on this board, had
it done not long ago and is not pleased at all with the results. This
makes me hesitate. Do some thorough research before proceeding. At this
point, I'm not sure I will include it as part of my surgeries.

I just had it done last week. It was much more difficult than I
anticipated. Legs up after 10 days- walk very little- still on pain meds
and still have bleeding and drainage. I just wasn't prepared for how
difficult it has been. email me if you wish. [email protected]
