congrats on your weightloss, first of all it takes a lot of energy to handle to little ones, but have you had your labs latley? Do you take B12 sublinguele, and your iron level may be low, you need to get to your regular doctor and get your labs done this will answer alot of questions. Also are your taking your multivitamins? Always take your B12 and vitimans in the morning, or atleast not just before bedtime. I always have had trouble sleeping, and I tried Ambian, for 3 nights and slept like the dead, but then I was only able to sleep for 4 hours, so I stopped using it. Maybe you need a sleep study, but your blood test first. I myself have been taking tylenol pm to help me sleep, and I do feel better in the day and nt so lethargic, You mayalso need more good carbs, or you maynot be getting enough calories, and protien that your body needs, are you diabetic, could your sugar be high? These are just a few things I could think of, but please get to your doc and get those labs done, it will give you peace of mind too. Hope this helps. Rosemary

First, take a deep breath and relax. Second, go schedule an appointment with your doctor to get labwork done. It takes lots of energy to keep up with children. One thing I remember when I was about a year out was a sort of an identity crisis. It kind of zapped my energy levels and I had to do some re-evaluation and most of my problem was self-imposed stress. What do you do to make yourself feel pretty? What do you do to take stress out of your life. Stress is an energy zapper. Do you have a standard exercise program--that helps burn off depression and stress. Make sure you're taking your vitamins. Make sure you're doing the proper amount of calories/protein per day. Lots of carbs make my moods go wanky. But first things first--get that labwork done! Then take it one step at a time. You've done great so far!

When you see your doc about labs, insist on a free T3, free T4 and TSH. Tou sound very much like you are hypothyroid! When I had it, these were my symptoms: aching in joints (elbows - weird!), fatigue, withdrawal from socialization, depression, poor sleep, poor exercise tolerance (due to pain and fatigue), and "brain fog" - poor memory, couldn't think of right words, etc. Unfortunately, most doctors will try to treat the symtoms instead of the cause. See an endocrinologist if your regular doc won't help. A free T3 is an expensive test, and most docs rely on the TSH, which can be "normal" but stll have you feeling like crap. Good luck!

you might need a increase in depression meds. talk to your doctor and if they can't help see a specialist.

When were your last labs done and how complete were they? If you do not have copies in your hand, please call the doc office or hospital and request copies of all labs, pre-op til forever and sit down and compare the items you can recognize. You will be able to recognize things like: protein, iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, vit B1, vit B12, vit A, vit D, zinc........ those things will be very clear to you even if the rest if not.
