Question:
Seeking A Website that has restaurant nutritional information
I know there has to be some web sites out there that have already done the research of checking fat, protein, and sugar grams of various restaraunts. Does anyone know of any good ones. I went to KFC and could read a poster, but they did not have one I could take home. — Heather M. (posted on June 9, 2003)

Try Dottie's weight loss zone - I'm not sure of the exact url, but you
could use a search engine.

It's been a while since I've looked at it, but I believe the website
3fatchicks.com has the facts on many restaraunts. Also, at
www.fastfoodfacts.com they have a book you can order (about $6 ???) and
that covers most fast food places (it even breaks down how much sugar is in
each item) I bought one for each car, that way when I am on the run, I can
stay on track.

I read Carnie Wilson's book, and she explains in there, that the best fast
food you can buy is Taco Bell's refried beans just plain, one cup, and they
are full of protein. I don't know how true this is, but it's worth looking
up.

Taco Bell has nutritional information on their site that's pretty good.
Actually it's a great place for fast food. A cup of Pintos'n'chees is 180
calories and 10 grams of protein. I always ask for it with some onions
added to it and it's great and one serving fills me up.
Another great fast food place is Wendy's. I like their baked potatoes with
chive and can eat about 2/3 of one. It's 7 grams of protein. Their caesar
side salad is also 7 grams of protein.
