I'am no expert, but you should still be only eating proteins. Not anything
else...till you lose 75% of your weight that is what my Doctor has told me.

Can you tell us what you ARE eating/drinking and which items you avoid?
What is your vitamin/supplement regimen? Water?

My doctor suggests that we get 60% of our calories from protein with the
rest from fruit, veggies and a very few simple carbs. At 10 weeks post-op
he told me to eat between 1000 and 1400 calories a day. I really don't
count anything but my protein grams - I get from 50 - 70g of protein a day
and the rest is mostly fresh veggies and fruit. I do not eat bread (I eat
wheat thins occasionally)and only rarely do I eat potatos or rice. I NEVER
eat pasta as it makes me very ill. I am six months post-op and have lost
116 pounds.

according to my nutritionist i am supposed to get in 40-60 grams of protien
a day. My other guide lines are nothing with more than 5 grams of fat and
10 grams of sugar. I see her again for my post op follow up this week i am
going to ask her about the carb thing. I basically eat protiens. I do get
in a rice cake (well 1/4 of one is all i can hold lol) or a cracker
everynow and then. I do try to get my protien in with food and milk
though. I eat about 3/4 of a protien bar for the rest of it. I eat this
thru out the day in tiny bits.
