Question:
Warning!

I just bought a new bottle of Flinstones Chewable Complete. I was mislead with the statement "NEW! IMPROVED FOMULA." I compared the new bottle to the old bottle and found that it has less vitamins and minerals!
The NEW! Improved Fomula has less nutrients.
Vitamin A is now 3000 IU 60% (old = 5000 IU 100%),
Niacin 15mg 75% (old = 20mg 100%)
Zinc 15mg 100% (old = 12mg 80%) — John T. That's interesting! A good lesson for me to read why it's new and improved before assuming it really is. Thanks for the info

Wow!!! I also use them. I try to get the generic version when they are on sale, and will now take the bottle with me to compare. Thanks for the info. They are much cheaper than the Natachews and taste better, too.

Oops! The zinc is switched around the new has the 12mg. Also I wrote the following to bayercare online with the following text. I've also included their web address at the bottom if any of you want to voice your concern to them: I just bought a new bottle of the Flinstones Complete(5/05 268693E) that states "NEW! IMPROVED FORMULA" believing that the new improved formula contained more nutrients. However I compared the Supplement Facts with the old bottle and discovered that the only change is a reduction in the following nutrients: Vitamin A is now 3000 IU instead of 5000 IU, Niacin is now 15mg instead of 20mg, and Zinc is now 12mg instead 15mg. So what is NEW about the new formula is less nutrients? Please explain what is new about this formula other than a reduction in nutrional value? I've posted a warning about this change to obesityhelp.com (dedicated to the 100,000+ Gastric Bypass patients who are dependant on vitamin supplement and many of whom have chosen your product). I will promptly post your reply to this matter.
Thank you,
John
Contact infomation to voice your concerns
http://www.bayercare.com/htm/contactus.php3
