Question:
What are your thoughts on Seasilver?
Hi All, I have been looking for a liquid vitamin, and have seen many posts about Seasilver. I went to the website(www.seasilver.com) and looked at the product and it looked good. Almost too good. The claims seem to be somethng along the lines of an Multi-Level Marketing product rather than an actual vitamin. Do you remember those electric belts that were supposed to give you a six pack? The ones that were banned? I kind of got the same feeling I had about the belts after visiting their site... I found a list of ingredients, but I couldn't find RDA's on anything. It doesn't seem like real vitamins... Also I am kind of suspect of the grand claims of "balancing body chemistry", and "purifies the blood and lympatic system", or "protects your tissues and cells against challenges"... I know that several people have really liked it, but I don't know if I want to risk taking something that may not really be working...Has anyone gotten feedback from their doctors on this stuff? Is Seasilver for real? — Steve V. (posted on December 26, 2002)

I started taking this product because of a gentleman in my support group.
His sister has cancer and is on kemo. Therefore has to take a vitamin that
can be absorbed quickly and easily. She has been taking this product for a
very long time(2-3 yrs). I realize that she has not had WLS, but I can
tell a difference in how I feel even. I have not had any labs yet since
taking it but am hoping my labs will turn out great. By the way, the taste
is great. You are required to hold the cranberry flavored liquid in your
mouth for 30 secs. before you swallow it because some vitamins(b-12) absorb
through the mouth(taste buds?). I hope this product works for me and you
because it has been a blessing for me. I never forget to take it, which is
a great accomplishment for me. Good Luck!!
