I am 11 months post op and I still take pre-natal vitamins every day and
usually twice a day one in the morning and and one before I go to bed.
Hope this helps I feel great when I take them like this.

Yes dear I'm taking 2 prenatal vitamins a day and I feel absolutely
wonderful. I'm 3 months post op, working out 4 days a week and loving
every step of my journey. I've lost 47lbs, by some standards I'm a slow
loser, but I would rather lose slow and steady and feel as great as I do,
(Oh did I mention no nausea)then lose fast and not feel well. I'm really
enjoying my journey and I appreciate God for giving me the opportunity to
have this surgery.
Have a blessed week,
Lenay

I take 2 prenatal vitamins a day - one in the morning and one at night. My
surgeon suggests them for some of his patients but he doesn't have any
objections to everyone taking them. My lab levels are excellent and the
vitamins are inexpensive - I get them at Wal Mart.

My doctor has his patients take a prenatal vitamin every other day and an
iron supplement on the alternate day. I am 10 weeks post-op and down 45
pounds. I think the prenatal vitamin has really helped with my energy
level. I exercise 5-6 times a week and feel great!!

But are you still taking the calcium citrate supplement? Most pre-natal's
calcium only comes in carbonate form. Do not rely solely on the
pre-natals.......
