Question:
Mexcian Steak Stirfry

This is great tasting and my husband will even eat it. You can make it as spicy as you want. 1 Red Pepper, 1 Yellow Pepper, 1Tsp. Oil, 1 Jar of salsa, 1 pkg. of Taco Seasoning, 1 bag of Low Fat Chedder Cheese, 1/4 cup water, 2 pkgs of Steak stir fry strips (found in the meat section), 1 can of refried beans and fat free sour cream. Cut steak & Peppers into small bite size pieces. Take a deep frying pan, add oil, steak & peppers. Cook until steak is no longer pink. Add taco seasoning, water & Salsa. Stir, cook for 10 minutes. Add cheese and cover. Cook until Cheese melts. In another pot heat up beans. Then place beans on plate, cover beans with steak & pepper concoction. Add sour cream to flavor. ENJOY!! This has lots of protien in it!! Steak, beans & Cheese!    — Lisa R. (posted on June 9, 2003)

THIS SOUNDS DELICIOUS! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE FAT CONTENT OR CALORIE CONTENT IS? I KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING. THANKS!

I've whipped up a similar dish...trying to copy Taco Bell's Steak Bowls! A couple ideas to make it even easier...Tyson makes all ready cooked steak strips in the frozen foods and Freshlike makes a stirfry mix of frozen peppers and onions!
