...Does anyone know of a competent plastic surgeon in the Raleigh, NC area?

Hi Everyone! Long time reader, first time poster.I am 6 months out and have lost 130 lbs. I am now 230 from my top weight of 360 (ouch!) I have lost 68 inches and would like to lose maybe 20 - 30 more lbs. I am having MAJOR skin issues and need lots of surgery. My question...Does anyone know of a competent plastic surgeon in the Raleigh, NC area? I have searched everything on AMOS, but find no references to anyone in this area. Jennifer, I live in Greenville, NC. I was referred by my surgeon to ECU Plastic Surgery and I've had an initial consult with Dr. Wooden. He was wonderful to talk with. I've also heard very good things about Dr. Lynn Garrison and Dr. Rizutti with Greenville Plastic Surgery if you're interested in an hour's drive away. My recommendation would be to ask your gastric surgeon who he/she would recommend. They probably know a plastics expert who knows a lot about removing excess skin due to rapid weight loss. You're doing outstanding. Wish I had had your quick results. I hope to have a TT in the Fall. Dr. Wooden doesn't recommend having it until the weight loss has stabilized and even though I'm extremely impatient to be the best I can be, I realize that patience will pay off in the long run for me. Keep me updated.
