Stick with the sweet and low for a while. Soon you won't like the taste of
real sugar. It's like going from regular to diet soda or from whole milk
to skim. You can also try honey or jam in your tea to sweeten it.

I use Splenda which is the new sweetener on the block. It is showing up on
the shelves in products like Diet Rite and Ocean Spray Cranberry, but hard
to find in packets or powder yet in the stores. It is heat stable so you
can cook with it. It can be ordered on line at Splenda.com.

I would also highly recommend the Splenda. I have been buying it from
Spleda.com for a while but it is finally out on the shelf in our area. The
good thing is that it is cheaper! We make lemonade with it and my husband
puts it in his coffee. It is great because there is no NASTY AFTERTASTE!!!
I have a hard time with Nutrasweet because of all of the chemicals in it.
There have been some studies that show that stuff is bad news. Can cause
symptoms of all kinds of things from fibromyalgia to Lupus. I know that it
gave me terrible headaches. Thank God for Splenda!

Hi you may want to try Splenda. It tastes great in hot drinks. You can
order it off of their sight. www.splenda.com.

I have discovered that if you mix NutraSweet with water before you heat it,
it dissolves much better. However, I have International Creamers as my one
sugary treat, as it takes me an entire day to drink a cup of coffee and the
sugar is disbursed over the course of several hours and I have had no ill
effects.

I echo the comments about Splenda. You just can't beat it! You can also
bake with it. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

You might try changing the tea you drink to one that is slightly sweet like
Bigelow's Constant Comment or one of the herbal teas from Good Earth. I
find the Good Earth teas too sweet even when I drink them 'straight'. They
may be just the thing for you though. Also a number of the teas that have a
fruit flavoring to them need little or no sugar. Good luck.
