Question:
FEET SWELLING ATER BODY LIFT AND INNER THIGHS???
Hi, It's been about 4 weeks since my lower body lift and inner thighs done and I'm having alot of swelling in my feet. A week ago I was to the doctor and it was swelling from my knees down, so he put me on a water pill, but a week later my feet are still huge. I drink my water and get my protein in and wear my compression garmet below the knee. I put pillows under my legs at night. Is this normal???? Thanks for any info. — Kelly* P. Kelly - I was told to expect that after my plastics. I had LBL, thighs,
and BL done at the same time and was told that the fluid would travel south
and stay there until it was drained out. However, I didn't experience much
swelling in my feet at all. I did, however, have a lot of swelling in my
upper legs. Do you still have drains in? I had drains in for 3 weeks and
so this probably eliminated a lot of the fluid that would have built up in
my lower region. It sounds like you are doing everything right. It just
takes time and everyone is different in terms of swelling. Best of luck!
I love my results, I hope you will too. Remember, it will take a few
months to see the results.

Hi. Does the swelling begin where the garment ends below the knee?
Garments can sometimes cause this. Try coming out of the garment when you
lie down, legs elevated, to get the fluid to drain. ACE wraps around your
feet while elevated can really help this. Lymphatic massage, low sodium in
your diet, avoidance of prolonged sitting or standing, and just time and
healing will all help this improve.

Swelling, Oh yeah, my bottom half swelled up atfer my TT and thighs about
week two as I recall. Elevate above your head all day!!!!! It will get
better, promise.
