Question:
Does anyone use Agave Nectar as a sweetener?

I am reading that it is a natural sweetener very low on the glycemic index, good for diabetics, and low carb diets-anyone have any experiences with this sweetener or know anything about the Taste???    — TotallyTori (posted on March 3, 2004)

I can honestly tell you i know nothing about agave nectar, but i can tell you to check out a product called stevia. we use it in everything, it's all natural and one tsp. equals one cup of sugar. definitly worth checking out!

I bought some about 6 months ago but have not used it in anything....only because I don't really know how to use it. It has the consistency of a very thick syrup, even a little thicker than honey. It looks like honey and actually tastes a little bit like honey. If you figure out a way to use it, let us know! Good luck!
