Question:
Has anyone tried the brand SugarLike???

I absolutely love karo syrup on pancakes and noticed that SugarLike has a liquid product that is supposed to be karo... has anyone tried it? Is it any good or should I not waste my money? Also the SugarLike brown (like brown sugar). Please let me know your thoughts because it is a little on the pricey side. :)    — dl_roark (posted on July 2, 2003)

I have not tried the sugarlike but hear it's really good. I did, however, read your profile and saw that you are having numbness in your legs and have abdominal cramps. I'm no doctor, but I believe the numbness can be a sign of vitamin definciency. What are you taking in the way of vitamins? I, myself, have had a bout with constipation (to the point of impaction) and had severe cramps due to that. Is this area working well for you? If not, this could be the cause of this problem for you. Just a thought.

I use the granulated & brown. That's all I've used since I tasted it about 5 yrs ago. The brown is granulated in texture, but it TASTES brown. I have not used the liquid myself, but some in the support group have made things with it. I was thinking I could add some maple extract & voila, maple syrup. Years ago I did that with Karo & maple.
