Question:
Has anyone tried Sugar Free Red Bull energy drink?
I noticed this morning at Dairy Mart that the energy drink Red Bull now has it in Sugar Free. Has anyone tried this? — Sunny4x4chick (posted on April 26, 2003)

I wouldnt be tempted- I think RED BULL, is the foulest tasting drink- kinda
like Salty Mountain Dew...ewwww!
check the ingredients- sugar alcohol, as long as it is not carbonated it
should be ok- (unless you drink carbonation) -

I haven't tried it and probably wouldn't, but if it has any sugar alcohol,
go slowly. Sugar alcohols cause diarrhea in almost everyone if they use
enough of them. A small amount may not bother you, but it would still be
wise to try just a small amount to start with.

I loved energy drinks before surgery. I wasn't aware that they came in
sugar free. Aren't they carbonated though?

Well, I've tried it and it works. Ya know-it does seem to energize nicely.
However, it gives me awful heartburn, so I don't drink it often. I prefer
diet Stinger whenever I can find it. It's high in B vitamins, so I figure
that it's a little better for me and it tastes loads better. (Of course,
that's not saying much-both are lacking in the good taste department)
