Went to Consult on Monday and the nurse said 4 to 6 weeks to hear from Ins,

I have United Health Care PPO. Does it really take 4 to 6 weeks to get some kind of responce if they are going to pay for the Beast reduction and tummy tuck? The waiting is killing me. What can i do to speed it the process up.    — sarah C. (posted on November 20, 2002)

I'm sure it's different with every case but I called them every week. I finally talk to a lady named Savanah. She put me on hold & found someone to get into a different system & then sent my case to a supervisor. I was on hold for about 15 min. but she kept checking on me. She was wonderful. I had an answer 2 days later. Like I was told United HealthCare is slow but really good about approving if the doctor says it's needed. Hang in there. I know it's horrible waiting!
