Question:
Does anyone know of a cookbook geared to people who have had WLS.
Hi, I am a little nervous about what I am going to eat, if I am going to be satisfied, and are there any recipes geared towards eating post-op. I have recieved the post-op food list, but it doesn't do much for me. I need to see some recipes. Please write if you know of any books or recipes. Thanks — Lauren G. (posted on June 7, 2002)

Victoria Bowen with an angelfire URL has a cookbook and online recipes. I
don't have her site address handy. Anybody else have it handy? Or maybe
look her up in the peers section. There are several cookbooks out there. I
have modified all my favorite recipes. I just sub. fat free sour cream and
fat free miracle whip and freeze my home made chicken broth in ice cube
trays and drop a couple of cubes in recipes for stir fry or to moisten
chicken & fish.

I would think any of the carb buster cookbooks would be helpful, just made
in smaller portions.
