Question:
HELP PLEASE!!!!! Anyone have PEIA and had bypass??

I haven't had the surgery back I do have peia. everyone i know has had to have the 10% loss. my wife is just now waiting approval and she had to have it, along with the year of documentation. she would have had her surgery earlier, but peia has a stipulation that you have to have them as your insurance company for a full year as well as the full year of documentation.

I have PEIA and am waiting on approval. I met all of the requirements but lost only 8% of my weight. PEIA said that as long as I had maintained that weight and not gained, they would approve the surgery. I should find out any day now if that is true. Would love to keep in touch as we both struggle for insurance approval. Good Luck! Lynn
