Question:
How do you know when you are ready for plastic surgery after WLS?

After a certain percentage of weight loss, I'm thinking.
My mother-in-law had to lose 70 lbs before Medicare would pay for
abdomnioplasty.

You should be at a stable weight for at least six months. If you jump the
gun and have surgery done too soon, then lose more weight, you may not be
happy with the way you look.

I went to a plastic surgery seminar and was told that if I flucuated 2-3
lbs. after a year and a half then it would be good to look at getting
plastics.

Ready for plastic surgery:
1. You are at or near your goal weight.
2. You are no longer actively losing.
3. You have maintained you current weight for 6 months or more.
4. Your surgeon gives you the go-ahead.
