Congrats or your surgery and Happy Thanksgiving. I like my crystal light extra diluted, its too strong full strength. I also started drinking daily the K2O ice tea. It has 5 grams of protein (it all adds up) in it. A little splash of lemon in it is good. I also dilute it

I have finally found Lipton rasberry white tea (diet) and it doesn't taste diet to me. I was SO sick of Crystal light. Try it. Tracy

Your taste will keep changing in will what you can and can't tolerate...so that's good news! I had a bit of the same trouble as you and I found that water was okay if it was room temp rather than cold...but it tasted best with a little lemon or lime juice and a tiny bit of sf sweetener. (I use a natural sweetener these days called stevia, because many of the sweeteners seem to bother my pouch lately and this one does not!) Once you can have juice, try adding a tiny bit of NSA juice with SF sweetener in a glass of water for even more flavors...It really helps with the metal taste which again, will go away after a few months...

I get tired of water too. I found this great bottled water at Costco called "Vita Rain" (not Talking Rain). It has the perfect balance of friut flavor and sweetness. In other word, it's delicately flavored so that you don't get burned out on it. I believe it is sweetend with Splenda. It's worth a try....and if you hate it, they always give your money back. -Darlene

I take a glass of water and add a shot 1oz of diet cranberry juice and a shot 1oz of orange juice and sip it.

Try the K2O protein water.... it's great! I couldn't (can't) drink water either without some discomfort, once I tried the K2O protein water... all of my "drinking problems" went away! LOL!!

I like Powerade Zero, Fuze Low Carb drinks and Diet Snapple Cran- Raspberry or Cran- Pomegranate. If any of them are too strong, I dilute them with some water. I am a couple years out now and have tried A LOT of protein drinks and can't tolerate the taste of any of them. Even the ones that are suppsed to be "tasteless". I am able to get my protein in through food. Dawn Vickers, RN, BLC, CLC

I drank regular Gatorade for a few weeks and then switched to G2 Gatorade. Also try some hot drinks like hot chocolate & coffee. They seem to sit better on the new tummy. Good Luck!
