Question:
Anyone ever done the BMR test and the physical fittness assessment?
I am now at goal, 2 lbs below actually. I am weighing 138 lbs down from 328 from my highest and 280 on surgery day! Excited! I love my new life and have turned into a major health nut with eating and exercise (running)! Here in a couple weeks I am going to have my BMR (basal metabolic rate) tested and also have a physical fitness assessment test where I run on a treadmill and they find my target and max heart rate etc.. My first question is, do you find that this information with your BMR is accurate (I have heard it isn't for WLS patients but how can that be if you are actually testing it???) and then what was the physical portion of the test like? Will I be running a while? Thanks! — MelissaF (posted on November 14, 2007)

Well I don't know the answers to your questions, but I am really inspired
by your transformation. I just looked at your most recent post on your
blog too and I so agree about the reality and seriousness of addiction
transfer. I am in counseling now and it is a blessing.
