Question:
Can't lose anymore weight...Need advice
On May 29th, I'll be 1 year post-op from my gastric bypass. I used to weigh 250lbs and am now down to 130-131. I can't seem to anymore weight. I'm still following the post-op diet because I'm too scared to come off of it fearing that I may gain all my weight back. Help! How can I lose some more weight. I only need to lose about 10 more. Thanks! — Nina15137 (posted on May 10, 2010)

A good, intense boot camp style workout may shock your body into losing
weight. It would be a good idea to talk to the personal trainer associated
with your surgeon's practice, if there's one available. I'm almost 11
months out and I'm facing a similar issue. Good luck!

is it possible that you are at the weight you are supposed to be?? i dont
know how tall you are, but at 5ft 3 i am aiming for about 135 and that's a
good weight for me.

Wow! 120 pounds in one year! Huge congratulations! First, how tall are
you? Is it possible that you just think you need to loose another 10
pounds? Sometimes, after we have been very heavy, it's hard not to see
ourselves that way. 130 is a low weight and might be here you need to be.
Give your body a little time to adjust. Best of luck!

Thank you. I'm only 4'11". God only knows how much this loose skin
ends up to be with total weight and all but, I'm still considered
overweight for my height.
