Question:
Wt gain, hard time with hypoglycemia!
I am 6yrs out have been able to maintain my wt, until my B/ S become a huge issue. What is some great ways to loss this weight and keep my sugar levels at the right range. I have had trouble in the past with large amount of protein drinks and the build up of air in my abd. Any ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated...thank you and god bless. Have you tried eating protein with the carbs for the hypoglycemia? I gained
weight also and as soon as they removed part of my pancreas, I dropped 33
lbs. in less than 2 months. Although I still have hypoglycemia, I am eating
things like trail mix with raw almonds and no sugary items like coconut or
m&ms. Cranberries, blueberries and the nuts and only eat about a
tablespoon at a time. That is not too many calories and it is combining the
carbs and protein.

I am three years out and am also having problems controlling my BS levels.
My issue is my levels spike and dip all day long so the doctors are unsure
how to treat. Shelly, are you on any meds at this point to try and control
your hypoglycemia? I am currently taking precose but see very little
difference. Is this a common problem with WLS patients?

also. After my sugar drops and comes back I get hungry. Does the
medication help with this issue
