You're going to need some patience to get through this. No matter where
you go, it's a process, and it's usually fairly long. That's a good thing.
The process prepares you for a whole new and completely different way of
life. You probably won't see the surgeon until you've had all your
evaluations done, because there's no need to see the surgeon until you've
qualified to have the surgery. Be patient, and ask lots of questions.
Good Luck!

Dr. Burch will be the last doctor for you to see. I had to see the primary
care doctor with the bariatric center and had to have a psychological
assessment done by a psychologist before seeing the surgeon. Stick with it,
it's worth it.

Depending on how your insurance is structured can tell you how lengthy this
surgery can get. If your cash pay, then everything falls in to place very
quickly. I would have thought you would have seen the dr the primary
recommended then started in with testing. Keep your blog up to date so we
can see how things are going for you.
