How do you know if your band slips?

what symtoms are you having, alot of the time we have irritated our stomachs, and it gets difficult to swallow or keep anything down. I got a stomach flu and threw up for 3 weeks, ended up hospitalized for 5 days. The dr's at the hospital were idiots...sorry, but all they treated me for was nausea. I kept telling them that I was sick, I ended up having a inner ear infection, pnemonia, and tonsiilitis....plusm my back felt like someone had punched me as hard as they could right in the middle of my back right between the shoulder blades. It ended up that 2 trips to my chiropractor helped. Those are the vertebrae that control your swallowing ability. Well because the Dr.s let me keep throwing up for so long, I irritated my stomach to the point that I could not even drink water, it came back up as fast as it went down. NOTHING stayed down. I called my dr who is out of the county and he told me to get my fill out immediately so my stomach could heal and let the swelling go down. Well I called all the Dr.s in my area on a saturday, I even called the ER and they all told me basically that I would have to wait and get an appointment and it could take up to 2 weeks to get in to see a dr. Well I called my Dr back, and he asked how soon I could get down to mexico. I told him I could be there in the morning.he told me to get there asap and call as soon as I got to san diego and he would meet me at the hospital. he met me at 9 am on a sunday morning, did 2 fluoroscopies, took out my fill and didn't charge me a penny....He was more worried about me as a person than making money off of me. I love my dr. If you band has slipped, there should be alot of pain. Not just the inability to swallow, but alot of pain. If you are worried, call your DR ASAP. Whether it is a weekend or not, if it is serious, don't wait.....It is better to be safe than sorry....let me know if I can be of any help in any way...Best of luck
