I bought two cookbooks: Recipe for Life After Weight Loss Surgery and
Eating Well after Weight Loss Surgery. They both have some good ideas.
I've made about three things so far from each, and for the most part, they
were really good.

Hi LOL I've bought the same two books. They give you alot of different
ideas. Check amazon.com they do have others. Actually the book Recipes
for Life after Weight loss surgery is written by a nutritionist from New
England Medical Center (NEMC) in Boston, MA who also had the RNY.
Best of Luck

Oh do I!!!! Michelle is an OH Staff member. She is an awesome cook and
takes regular foods and makes them carb friendly and full of protein! (I'm
her biggest fan) So tell her Anita sent you if you write to her about her
recipes. She posts them all to the public as a service to us...But do tell
her if you like a recipe...I always do! She's also a WLS success! So she's
one of us! :)
Her web site/profile is beautiful and she takes photos of the steps and
what the food looks like so you have a really amazing experience with her
recipes and you can talk to her! Or ask her questions! She's just amazing!
Love this woman!

I also have found good old Weight Watchers cook books to be great for
recipes. Plus, they portion everything out for you. Good luck to you.

good on the web. I searched but did not find much.

Hi there - I was in the same boat at about 3 yrs post op until i discovered
Allrecipes.com. Almost every recipe can be made for your pouch-well
except the really gooey desserts, but heck, even those can be made if you
have a great imagination and the time to play. All my meals now comes from
that site, except my isopure chocoloate protein stuff, which i still have 2
times a day with the chocolate hood carb countdown milk. Even that can be
put into some of the desserts and tastes great. Give the website a try,
you may enjoy cooking again and anticipating some great different foods.
Good luck Cindi 3.24.04 - 230 lbs and maintaining the loss :)

I just learned to cook with alot of spices! Olive oil, garlic, peppers,
onions and just experiment. I cook alot of chicken breast. I was getting
tired of the same old too. add the spices etc and dont be afraid to use
them.
