None of them are sugar free as there is sugar in Milk products, but it is not added sugar. Look for Fat Free or a minimum of fat like in Fit and Lively by Dannon. The small amount of sugar will not cause you any problems unless you have problems with milk.

You will not find a sugar free yogurt because milk has natural sugars in it to start with. (I just learned this myself) So anything with 5-8 grams is normal for plain yogurt. My favorite yogurt is Greek style ...the brand name is FAGE (pronounced Fah-yeh) It has 5 g sugar. I add SF syrups, whole or pureed fruit or SF jams and jellies. The Greek yogurt tastes just like sour cream so I also use it for that purpose and it is VERY high in protein... 18-20 grams! Twice that of regular yogurt. There is a "Dannon Carb Control"(2 g sugar) yogurt and Atkins reduced Sugar (1 g sugar)(never seen it or tried it, just heard of it), but it doesn't even taste like yogurt at all. Hope that helps some!

I buy the Blue Bunny brand of "Light No Sugar Added" flavored yogurt. (it was called something else before, LITE 85)....They're sweetened with Splenda and are fat free. 50 calories per serving. They are 4.0 oz. cups and have 5 grams of protein, and only 5 grams of sugar, but 7 g. carbs. I don't have any problem with these, and I do with milk. I was told by several nutritionists that yogurt is easier to tolerate even though it's a milk based product. So if you're lactose intolerant, usually yogurt won't bother you as much as straight milk would. They taste great and are just the perfect size! Good luck! Cheryl

Danan Fit & Lively I found is the best that sits well with me. The others all have to much sugar. They even come in the tiny size which is just right size serving. Best of luck

I found that the only one I can eat that does not bother my stomach is dannon light and fit. The peach and the lemon are awsome. I usually have this for breakfast with some all natural granola.

There are brands that have SPLENDA on them. look for those....they are not that bad. I have a smith's or a safeway and you can find a variety of splenda yogurt drinks or yogurt. i do not do light or regular at all have you seen the sugar, carbs, fat in those.....no way......i am not eating them.

Blue Bunny Carb freedom has 9 protein and only 5gm sugar. Not all stores carry it, but is worth the search. It doesn't seem to be as sour as other yogurts. They also have a light version instead of the low carb, but I don't think it tastes as good. Good luck!
