Question:
Hard, slippery feeling spot on left side post lapband surgery

I had lapband surgery in March. On my left side of my belly I can feel something that is hard, curved shape and when I move the skin back and forth it feels really slippery. To give you an idea of size and shape... when I lay on my right side and place my hand over it, it fits right in the middle of my palm. I thought perhaps it was the side of the port, but it seems to be above that area (in relation to the scar and just general placement) It also seems to get bigger at times and will be tender when its larger. At my one month check up I asked my doctor about it and he said it was probably just still some swelling/irritation from surgery. He really didn't even feel it and pretty much just blew it off. I would bet you are feeling your port.....i really wouldn't worry.
