at 4 weeks out you should be eating 1 ounce of food..but can stretch it to
two if you need to. I would recommend keeping it as little as possible
while you have no hunger... If you do right now It's probably head hunger.
You do not have to eat to feel full. Just for nutrients right now. at 8-12
weeks you will increase to 2 ounces depending on how losing is going. I had
to increase my intake to 2 ounces because I was not losing and my body was
in starvation mode. But this was me. Talk with your nutritionist about what
and how much to eat. Best of luck ! hugs,Kim

At 4 weeks for me I was still on liquids, but I still got full. If I were
you, I would try to stay on liquids because your pouch is still swollen and
tender and putting "food" in it will make it sore. But, if you
do continue on food, you should be full with about 2 tablespoons but it
depends on what you are eating. Foods that are heavy or thick will fill
you up faster. Take your time with food, you will be able to eat it as
time goes on. If you rush it, you can damage your pouch and it could cause
problems. Just a little tip. I always get concerned when people eat
"food" solid food just shy of post op. Remember, your stomach
had a major surgery and so you should baby it with liquids or thick liquids
to be sure it heals nicely. best wishes
