Question:
i plan to have a tummy tuck how much pain should i expect?
I had RNY 3 years ago and have saggy skin like everyone else, just a little nervers about pain after tummy tuck. — Belinda S. (posted on May 24, 2008)

Y eah, Hon, you will know pain but it feels so good to know that flab is
gone for good, you just won't give a monkey's uncle. I had a major tummy
tuck in 98. First day, I thought a Mack Truck had hit me, but I was fine.
Went home the next day and did fine. Used very little pain meds. Think
positively adn you'll get through it. God Bless! Lyn

I completely understand. Those I know that have had it done are so pleased
with the outcome that they all say the pain was well worth it. I will have
to have a lower body lift, thighs, arms, breast and face done as when I
reach my goal weight, I will have lost 252#. EVERHTYHING will have to be
sucked and tucked.
I agree with the previous author... positive thoughts and visualization
will get you through it. Walk and cough even though it hurts and heal your
body and mind. Congrats.

It's painful, but manageable with the pain meds. And definitely worth it
in the end. I lost 110 pounds from my band surgery and had the saggy skin.
I was wearing a size 6 before the tummy tuck. I wear a size 4 now.
Surprisingly, it was less than three pounds that my surgeon removed - just
loose skin no fat to speak of.
Good luck!
