Question:
want info about drain tubes after a tummy tuck. how long before u can shower? etc..

I could shower once I left the hospital; You just have to be careful Like pinning the tubs on a necklace so they didnt fall down and pull. I had two; the first one came out in two weeks, the second a month. Tho all surgeons may be different this is one you need to ask yours personnally.

I was allowed to shower after 3 or 4 days. I had 3 drain tubes, 2 were taken out after 4 days the other 1 was taken out after 6 days. I put the tubes in a fanny pack type thing when I showered so they did not pull.

I showered as soon as I got home from the hospital. I took a long piece of heavy string and put it around my neck, then attached the drainage tubes to that so they wouldn't pull. It is okay to gently wash around the drains and rinse well.
