you have to remember that people who never even heard of WLS experience
hair loss. Hows your bloodwork?
Congrats on keeping the weight off:)

Are you getting in all your protein in? My NUT tells me to have 60-70
grams of protein daily. Plus, you need to take biotin and now my NUT tells
me to take zinc.

I'm not 4 years out, but 21 months and yes, still have hair loss.
However, mine is due to menopausal changes as well as weight loss (I'm
still in the losing phase). It's not just protein and biotin and other
vitamins. Go see your PCP for bloodwork and if all looks well there, get a
referral to a dermatologist. Good luck and congrats on the weight loss.

At 4+ years I had hair loss and it was frustrating. To help minimyze my
hair loss I got serious in taking my Vitamins DAILY specially Vitamin D.
It is an essential supplement to ad to your diet if you want long term
healthy bones, nails, and hair. Good luck in your journey and please make
sure you balance your Vitamins intake with your food and life style habits.

Gettin enough protein and taking your vitamines are the main preventive
steps but women also experience hairloss after a certain age. Taking EPO
can help with this but in the end we all get hairloss problems as we get
older.

I am post op 2 years and still have quite a lot of hair loss. I've been
using Nioxin Therapy Shampoo, Nioxin Scalp Conditioner, and Nioxin scalp
foam. I bought them at my Salon. Nioxin is alot like Rogaine. I would
also have your Thyroid checked. Hypothyroidism which I have can cause hair
loss too.

No joke, I have to wear a hat to keep the reflection from knocking jets out
of the sky and contributing to global warming.

Protein, proper intake of vitamins/supplements and another thing to
remember. When you start losing your hair, it's because of how you ate 3-5
months ago, according to my NUT! It will take some time to see the
progress...
