?'s about Michel Murr MD(Tampa).How long after being cleared by Spectra did you have your appt and then how long b4 surgery. Have heard he's the best. Just cleared yesterday.Any complications?Thanks    — Jodie T. (posted on September 15, 2007)

Dr. Murr did my surgery on June 5. He is a wonderful surgeon and person! Once I was cleared by Spectra, I had an appt. with him within 2 weeks. Because I had previous DVT's I then had to see a hematologist. When the hematologist cleared me, he wanted me on folbee plus for 3 weeks before having surgery. So you really shouldn't have long to wait! I am down 70 lbs. and feeling great! I have had no complications! Had surgery on a Tuesday and came home on Thursday. I am so thankful that I chose Dr. Murr to do my surgery! Best of luck to you!
