Question:

Did you have the Lap? Do not look at the scale that does not help at all. I
was checking everyday at first and that is something that got me down when
I was heavy. Focus on how things fit on you and how you feel. I'm just 5
months out and have not hit where I want to be in numbers just Love where
I'm at in size from a 24 to a 12. DO NOT let the scale beat you up. You
will loose and it will come off real fast just stay on the plan by your
doctor and exersice it woorks.

One last thing if you are in north San Diego, find a support class. Sharp
hostipal has great ones I go every month.

Back to the basics, support group, doctor and nutritionist visit, protein,
veggies, exercise, vitamins and water. Do the emotional work and work
through your bumps in the road rather than feeding them.
Best of luck,

I am 3 months post-op, VSG, and I have not gained back any of the 30 pounds
I have lost yet, but I did hit a plateau for about a month there. I was
frustrated of course, but I started looking closer at what I was eating and
what I was doing that I could eliminate or change. I finally figured out
that I was simply not sleeping enough! Once I figured it out, I made sure
I got my 7 to 8 hours nightly! That's it! I was doing the vitamins,
water, protien and veggie and excercise things already, it was just that
not getting enough sleep that was hitching everything up!
An added bonus to getting enough rest is that I am so much less stressed
that I have more control over my eating too.
Good Luck!
Cydne, 213 today! (down from 285 pre-op)
