Question:
if you are having or have had surgery with dr.m.jawad in ocala,fl?

can you please let me know what kind of insurance you have/had and if you had to pay a $1000 copay for the hospital stay? hoping to have lap rny? i have bcbs of florida (ppo).need to know if i need to start saving my pennys!!! please help. thanks in advance.    — latreshar (posted on May 20, 2008)

Yes I had to pay what my out of pocket deductible was up front to the hospital. If I would of met my deductible before the surgery I would not of had to pay them anything. Hope this helps.

I have bcbs of Texas, and they didn't pay a penny. I'm wondering, how do you get them to pay? I'd like to have it at least partially reimbursed if at all possible.

You have been approved by BCBS of Florida? OMG, if that is the case, I just might have a stroke right now. I had to be a self pay as they had an ABSOLUTE plan exclusion on 08/03/06 when I had surgery and spent about $18,000!!! Have things changed??? I hadn't heard that they changed their Plan.
