Question:
Has anyone had the stomaphyx done and if so how is your sucess

Try reading at the "revisions board" under forums...I think it's a fairly new procedure and there probably are no long term stats yet. I know a lady that just had it done a few months ago...She had lost 5-10 lbs the first few weeks and no one heard from her again...so I hope she's enjoying her success with no troubles...but I really don't know.

I had Stomafyx on Sept 26, 2007. I have not seen any great results. Have lost about 20 lbs, but was always hungry and struggled to get that off. Have not lost any this year except dancing with 5# on and off. If I had it to do over, I would explore full revision instead. Hope this helps. Too expensive to be so hungry right after procedure even though surgeon says I'm supposed to be hungry. If I knew I was supposed to be hungry, I never would have had the procedure. I can diet and be hungry all the time (or at least try to diet)

I haven't had but am looking into it...talked to BCBS, they said they would consider it a revision to my prior surgeries if the doctor wrote it up right. I am wanting to go to Dr. Todd Overcash. If you talk to someone who has had it, let me know please. Good luck and God bless.
