Question:
Can anyone suggest a surgeon in Brooklyn,New york?

My PCP is affiliated with Brooklyn Hospital of Brooklyn,New York and wants me to have my surgery there. My issue is the hospital doesn't have the best reputation. My PCP is awesome,but I'm not sure about the WLS surgeons. Has anyone had surgery at Brooklyn Hospital? If yes,how was your experience? If you dont mind traveling I would recommend Dr. Roslin from Lenox Hill hospital in manhattan upper east side.

I had my wls at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center with Dr. Beth Schrope. I would recommend searching for a Bariatric Center of Excellence and see if there is a hospital close to you. There is also a nice search engine in OH that lists a lot of the surgeons in different areas. I attended about 3 different seminars prior to selecting a surgeon. I think its ultimately how you feel with the particular surgeon. Good luck!
