The safest answer would be to ask your doctor.

I agree with Natasha, this is not a question for the message board. And to be honest, I am concerned that you have been diagnosed with a condition and your physician has not told you how to treat it! Please ask your doctor what the recommendation is.

I agree with Natasha. Vitamin needs vary person to person. Although most doctors start their patients on a multivitamin and calcium proir to surgery not all do. When your doctor prescribed you vitamin D he/she would have told you other vitamins you need. Since he/she did not your vitamin levels must be fine??? Personally if it were me I'd ask at my next appointment. As for your H-PLORI I don't know what that is...sorry.

My husband also tested positive for H Pylori before his surgery in Sept. I had him eating yogurt as he was taking a couple different antibiotics at the same time. The "H" pack is crazy with all the pills you have to take. You will have some crazy side effects as far as your BM's. Its really gross but necessary for your health before you can even consider surgery. I always used to take acidolphis when I took antibiotics or had stomach issues to help keep the balance but haven't in years. I would ask your pharmicist or doctor. As far as the vitamins I did the same thing I pushed all the "B"'s and multi vitamins, didn't know about "D" until later on after surgery, so your already ahead!! Your doing good and taking your health into your own hands. Just get healthy as possible before as you will heal faster. Don't forget to add walking before also, as you will feel better faster!! Good luck, Toni

I also was tested positive for the H Pylori and took the heavy duty antibiotics which I believe cured it cause I feel alot better now. Just make sure you take all of the dosage that was prescribed for you! Hope you feel better!
