Question:
How does body art look after the surgery?

I have 6 tattoos and I am starting the procedure for the surgery for the millionth time. Im wondering what should I expect after the weight is gone?    — kanderson1016 (posted on September 24, 2007)

My cousin had the sugery 2 years ago and where the tattoos were originally are not where they are now that she has lost 125 pounds. The one on her lower back is now on her butt. the one on her upper chest is gone due to her lift. Her solution? Removal and body lift. :)

It depends on if you got the tats before you were heavy. I have a friend that had full sleves, he got them when he was thin and then when he gained weight they got light, then he had the WLS Surgery and they looks like they did when he got them.

I have two tats - one on my inside right ankle - it's fine, hasn't changed. My second is on my lower back, right above my fanny - it's fine, too. It hasn't changed either. Good luck.

I have a friend that has a tiger on her upper chest (not really on the breast a whole lot). Let's just say that her tiger doesn't roar anymore, it yawns! Atleast that's her hubby's take on it and she agrees!
