I'm 15 months post op,and I'm sure you don't want to hear this, but I have
gas almost all the time. I attribute it to healthier eating, since the
things I eat now probably produce more gas than all the carbs I was eating
before (also South Beach protein bars). I take Gas-x and beano and that
helps. Oh well, I learn to deal with it.

Fruits, veggies, protein gives us gas. We have a fresh stomach and it is
now able to digest food better. Passing gas is a natural function of the
body. I notice an increase in gas when I have a complete Isopure No Carb
Protein drink -- however it doesn't cut loose until Im' home. When I feel
it coming on at work, I just get up and go find a bathroom stall -- those
are usually silent. I dissipates from time to time.
