Question:
I was wondering if anyone know if VA Medicaid will pay to have a lower body lift

I would like to have a lower body lift instead of just having a panniculetomy to anyone know if they will pay for this. Although I have months alway I would still like to know.    — Mary C. (posted on March 7, 2005)

Almost all insurances consider the thigh and buttock part of the LBL cosmetic. My insurance approved the panni, but I had to pay for the rest of the LBL out of pocket (worth every cent too) . Because of the panni aproval the hospital stay was covered, so that helped a lot.
